Who We Are

Born in Pittsburgh and raised in Boston, Don Germaise hated the cold weather. He moved to Florida as soon as possible, attending University of Florida. There, he found a passion for news, where he worked up from radio to tv, eventually retiring from ABC Action News in Tampa. He is a loving husband and father who enjoys traveling and watching local sports, mainly the Tampa Bay Rays. Don is the founder and true heart of the Germaise Family Foundation. We are blessed to have him working in our community.

Jeanne Germaise was born and raised in New Jersey and made it down to Florida to attend Florida Atlantic University. She has a very successful career with an engineering firm. She is the glue that holds the Germaise family together. Her passions within nonprofit leans towards helping underprivileged children, stemming from when her family needed the Ronald McDonald House. She enjoys caviar, traveling, and spending time with her daughter and grandpup, Gunner. 

Lexi is one of the few born and raised Floridians. After graduating from University of South Florida, she followed in her mother's footsteps and now works in construction as the Senior Graphic Designer for CRH, a building materials company. Lexi lives in St. Pete with her dog, Gunner, and enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring her hometown. She started volunteering at 7 years old with Metropolitan Ministries with her father and has since become a board member for UpCharity Romania.
