Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center stemmed from a group of concerned citizens to address local substance abuse problems. They believed that community problems could be dealt with more effectively at the local level, and launched the Center to be a successful format of support services that continue today. It now offers after school programs for children and a food pantry for the entire community.

They care for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in our community through services that alleviate suffering, promote dignity and instill self-sufficiency.
Our Daily Bread Tampa Bay was an all-volunteer based organization with a mission to permanently eliminate hunger and homelessness in the Tampa Bay area. In collaboration with local partners they opened the first free grocery store in the State of Florida to serve the community citizens directly.

People for Haiti was devoted to serving medical needs in Haiti. Due to safety concerns resulting from increased civil unrest and COVID-19, this wonderful organization had to close after 10 years. Don Germaise made many trips to Haiti to assist with medical care.
